Proximity International draws upon a range of digital platforms to ensure that we have the right tool for the job. Proximity regularly draws upon CommCare, KoBoCollect, and ArkGIS, and has the in-house capacity to code its own data collection and management programs.
These tools allow extensive oversight and control of data collection, entry, and transmission processes. They enable us to conduct real-time, data-driven monitoring of program activities, track performance, and provide feedback to program implementers.
They also enable us to encrypt identifying information for secure and streamlined data entry. The tools allow for mobile-based data collection, and their online platforms facilitate the seamless and transparent flow of information from the field to off-site program and analysis teams. Additionally, we can collect digital data offline, allowing us to subsequently upload the collected data once we return to a connected setting.

As part of our commitment to community engagement and local job creation, Proximity International works with its own teams of trained researchers and enumerators in all areas where we work. Because we work in a number of settings too dangerous for outsiders to visit, we frequently have to build our teams remotely.
FIELD 360 is our integrated solution to remotely recruiting, training, and deploying field teams. It consists of a complete package of policies and protocols that ensures we thoroughly vet candidates, provide them with robust training, and collect high-quality data safely. It lays out an ongoing management process that continues independent of program cycles and needs.
